EIMA 2022, the best of all time The 45th edition of the world fair for agricultural machinery ends with the extraordinary number of 327,100 visitors, beating the 2018 record (317,000) and establishing itself as a “top” event on the stage international. See you in Bologna, for the next edition, from November 6 to 10, 2024.

The 2022 edition of EIMA international reached its highest historical level with 327,100 visitors, including 57,300 foreigners. During the five days of the exhibition – an event of global importance for the agricultural machinery sector, organized by FederUnacoma – the number of visitors exceeded the record (317,000) set in the 2018 edition, before the crisis caused by the pandemic. The Bologna show brilliantly surpasses the two most critical years for events of this kind (2020-2022), determined first by the health emergency, then by the difficult economic situation, and strengthens its leadership in the panorama of lounges. The international character is the strength of this show – as the organizers point out – and represents the element of identification which makes it possible to distinguish it from all the others. Foreign visitors, coming from all the continents, cover 18 % of the total attendance, and 80 official delegations of economic operators – organized thanks to the ICE agency – led the business meetings in the Pavilion of Foreign Delegations specially equipped .

“The success of EIMA confirms the growing interest in next-generation agricultural technologies that can meet the food needs of a world population which, in the next ten years, will increase by nearly one billion units – declares Alessandro Malavolti, president of FederUnacoma – and confirms that in every region of the world work is being done to innovate cultivation methods, trying to use water resources and soil fertility in a scientific and sustainable way”. “In this perspective – added Malavolti – a fair like EIMA has an important mission even for the next few years”. “The result of this edition stems from a very rigorous follow-up that we carry out as a Federation, trying to offer manufacturers and the public of operators ever more efficient services – as Simona Rapastella, general manager of FederUnacoma argues – and it is also the result of a very precise strategy that concerns the Eima brand as well as the content of the exhibition, in addition to representing an important investment that we have made to promote the fair and to involve all the strategic objectives”. “Investments to which are added those of BolognaFiere aimed at improving the structures of the exhibition area – said Simona Rapastella in conclusion – which will continue over the next few years, in step with a fair with an important present and future”. The next edition of EIMA International is already fixed for November 6 to 10, 2024, but an event of great importance for agricultural mechanics will also take place next year, with the return of Agrilevante by EIMA, the fair dedicated to mechanization. for the cultures of the Mediterranean area which will take place at the Bari Fair from October 5 to 8, 2023.
